A house built not of walls, but of awareness.
About Us
The Story Behind the Work.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by why we get stuck, the invisible patterns that keep us looping through anxiety, self-doubt, and procrastination.
For years, I tried to think my way out of it. But the truth is, you can’t outthink what the body holds.
House of Viktor was born from the realisation that healing and growth begin when we learn to listen to the body’s signals, to the stories we tell ourselves, and to the quiet space in between.
This isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about learning to live in your own skin with calm, clarity, and confidence.
Why “House of Viktor”
The name House of Viktor carries two meanings, one inspired, one personal.
Viktor Frankl, psychiatrist and Holocaust survivor, taught that between what happens and how we respond lies our greatest freedom: the space to choose. House of Viktor honours that space: a place to breathe, regulate, and respond with awareness rather than reaction.
“Viktor” also speaks to the quiet victory of becoming a victor over yourself, not by control or perfection, but by understanding.
It’s the strength that comes from self-awareness: choosing calm over chaos, awareness over avoidance, and truth over performance.
My Approach.
I combine somatic and psychology-informed tools, including breathwork, meditation, and reflective mindset practices, to help people regulate, release, and rebuild.
This isn’t therapy, nor is it “wellness.” It’s practical, grounded self-work guided by science and lived experience.
Because the body holds what the mind hasn't yet grasped, and when both start speaking the same language, change becomes real.
Meet Sophie
I’m Sophie Bennett, founder of House of Viktor.
After twenty years in branding and communications, I retrained in mind–body practices, completing over 700 hours of breathwork and meditation training, and I also began studying psychology at Swinburne University to bridge science with self-development.
I’ve worked with teens, parents, and adults who are ready to let go of old stories and step into their next chapter, one grounded in awareness, discipline, and self-belief.
What I Believe.
Growth isn’t quick or linear. It’s daily, deliberate, and often uncomfortable.
Your body knows before your mind does. Breath brings them back into conversation.
Real confidence is quiet. It’s the peace that comes from understanding yourself.
Awareness is the beginning of accountability. When you see clearly, you choose differently.
